Do I need a commercial tour license to become a local host?
Licensing and permit requirements vary by city, service and the way an experience is delivered. HireALocals does not waive local legal requirements. Before publishing a service, check the rules that apply to your activity and location and obtain any required licence, permit or insurance.
How much can I charge as a Local?
You set your hourly rate or service package pricing. There is no guaranteed income or standard host rate: demand, service scope, city, availability and your own pricing all affect booking outcomes.
How do payouts work?
For bookings that require online payment, Safepay processes the hosted checkout. Payment and settlement status are tracked in the Local workspace according to the current booking and payout workflow.
