Marketplace role
HireALocals is intended to operate as a marketplace connecting travelers with independent local service providers. Providers are not employees of the platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.
User responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, use the platform lawfully, respect cancellation and safety rules, and avoid taking transactions off-platform where that would bypass marketplace protections or fees.
Provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the truthfulness of their profiles, required licenses or permissions, appropriate insurance where applicable, and safe delivery of their services.
Payments, refunds and disputes
Payment, cancellation and refund rules will be published before live checkout is activated and may vary by service type and jurisdiction.
